Debora Fajer-Smith was born in Brazil and grew up in Bowie, Maryland. After graduating from the University of Maryland School of Law in 1984, she worked three years for a law firm in Prince George's County. In 1988, she opened her own law firm in Bowie, Maryland. Recently, she joined Joseph, Greenwald and Laake, PA, bringing with her a substantial practice and expertise in Workers Compensation and personal injury. She heads the firm's Worker's Compensation group.
