Mr. Golesorkhi is a member of Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A.'s Family Law practice Group. He joined the firm in June 2010 and has been practicing family law throughout his career. After serving as the judicial law clerk to S. Michael Pincus of the Circuit Court for Montgomery County, Mr. Golesorkhi went into private practice and has concentrated in the field of family law.  He represents clients in the negotiation and preparation of property settlement agreements, ante nuptial agreements, and post-nuptial agreements, and litigates before the Family Division Masters and judges of the Circuit Courts of Maryland in contested and uncontested divorce, custody, and support matters.  Mr. Golesorkhi has argued and/or briefed cases in Circuit Courts of Anne Arundel, Queen Anne's Charles, Frederick, Prince Georges, Montgomery and the Court of Special Appeals of Maryland.  Much of Mr. Golesorkhi's practice focuses on complex domestic relations issues involving such things as business valuations, domestic relations taxation, valuation of real estate holdings and related issues, creating solutions for wealth accumulation and preservation and the use of the tax code to optimize settlement solutions for both parties in a case.

Prior to joining Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A., Mr. Golesorkhi was the Co-Founder of the firm of Guerami & Golesorkhi LLC and previous to that worked at some of the top family law firms in Montgomery County and Washington, D.C.

Mr. Golesorkhi graduated from The George Washington University (B.S.) and received his law degree from The Catholic University of America's Columbus School of Law. 

Mr. Golesorkhi is heavily involved in the Bar Association of Montgomery County, Maryland and has served as the immediate past Co-Chair of the Family Law Section of the bar and as past Program Co-Chair.  He is also an active member of the Montgomery County, Maryland Inn of Court, the Maryland State Bar Association, the American Bar Association and the American-Iranian Bar Association.

Mr. Golesorkhi has three children and lives with his wife and kids in Vienna, Virginia.
