Veronica Nannis, a partner in the Litigation Group, is a client advocate in a wide range of areas including: commercial litigation, civil rights, tort claims, employment law and a host of other, civil litigation areas. She has developed an expertise in representing “whistleblowers" in False Claim Act cases (Qui Tam) involving health care fraud, and has numerous Medicare and Medicaid fraud cases pending all over the country. Ms. Nannis received her juris doctor from the Catholic University of America and was active in the Latino American Law Students Association. She simultaneously received a master's degree in psychology from CUA, and holds a special interest in claims involving mental health issues. Ms. Nannis is active in the bar and serves as Secretary to the Marlborough Inn of Court. In 2010 she was selected by the D.C Bar Board of Governors to serve on the Lawyer Assistance Committee for her first 2-year term. A former JGL law clerk herself, Ms. Nannis now hires and supervises the firm's law clerks as well as its litigation associates.
