Associate

Hannah Nallo is an associate in Joseph, Greenwald & Laake’s Civil Litigation practice group. 

Hannah earned her B.A. from Franklin & Marshall College in Lancaster, P.A. where she majored in English Literature & Spanish. She earned her J.D., magna cum laude, from the American University Washington College of Law. While in law school, Hannah served as Associate Articles Editor for the American University Law Review, as the Managing Editor of the Human Rights Brief, and as a student attorney with the Montgomery County prosecution clinic. During law school, Hannah organized the Brief’s first symposium on Disability Rights, and helped to create the Law Review’s online Forum. She was also a Research Assistant for Professor Ira Robbins, examining the relationship between prosecutors and death investigators around the country. Hannah served as a summer law clerk for the Maryland Attorney General’s Office in the criminal appeals division, and interned in the criminal appeals division of the D.C. United States Attorney’s Office. 

At graduation, Hannah received the Claire A. Cripe award for exceptional work in correctional law, and the Human Rights Brief award for her service to the brief. Hannah also became a member of the Order of the Coif.  

Prior to joining Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, Hannah clerked for the Honorable Michael K. O’Keefe of the D.C. Superior Court for two years while Judge O’Keefe presided over a felony criminal calendar. She also clerked for the Honorable José M. López of the D.C. Superior Court for one year, handling various types of civil matters. 

Hannah speaks fluent Spanish, and is admitted to practice in Washington, D.C. Hannah’s application to the Maryland bar is currently pending.
