Maryland Court Affirms Vinick, Kahn and Creed’s Malpractice Verdict

Principal Steven Vinick and managing director Burt Kahn tried a medical malpractice case in Montgomery County in December of 2015. The case dealt with a negligently performed surgery which injured the client. Although it was a challenging case, Vinick and Kahn were able to earn their client a very favorable verdict and a large monetary award.

The defense appealed the verdict, taking the case to The Maryland Court of Special Appeals. Attorney Joseph Creed fought the appeal and the court reaffirmed the original verdict. The Maryland Court of Special Appeals also published a 47 page opinion explaining the facts of the case and why they chose to side with Vinick, Kahn and Creed. To view this opinion click here.
