Steven Vinick hosts National Business Institute video webcast

Joseph Greenwald & Laake principal Steven Vinick cohosted a National Business Institute video webcast, titled “IPhone and Android Evidence in Personal Injury Litigation,” on August 8th. Alongside attorney Chad J. Hintz, Vinick discussed important details regarding smartphone evidence in personal injury cases.

Vinick led multiple topics throughout the seminar’s agenda. First, he discussed how smartphone evidence can be lost or unintentionally altered. He also spoke about when phone records can be subpoenaed from phone carrier companies, as well as places to look for smartphone evidence and what evidence one can find. His other topics including data collection methods for iPhones and Androids; authentication, admission and exclusion of evidence; and hearsay objections and exceptions.
