Bridget Cardinale
Associate
Bridget Cardinale is an associate in Joseph, Greenwald & Lake's Civil Litigation group.
Bridget grew up in Silver Spring, Maryland. She earned her Honors B.A. from the University of Delaware and her J.D. from the Wake Forest University School of Law. While in law school, Bridget served as an editor for the Wake Forest Law Review and on the teams of multiple clinics, including the Community Law and Business Clinic and Microtrade Development Clinic. As a member of the Microtrade Development Clinic, she consulted with international vendor clients in Spanish on the legal requirements to form and develop their family businesses. Before graduating, she also worked as an intern for Judge Nelson W. Rupp, Jr. of the Montgomery County
Circuit Court.
Following law school, Bridget moved to Atlanta, Georgia where she practiced law in a variety of litigation areas. Although she primarily practiced family law, Bridget also handled cases in personal injury, juvenile, trust and estates, and in Atlanta's municipal court. She represented clients as their lead attorney in all stages of litigation zealously and effectively advocating their cases while staying committed to meeting the needs of them and their families. Bridget continued to provide pro bono representation. As a volunteer, she would appear at protective order hearings and be available for immediate representation to petitioners who were in need of protection, but without the ability to afford counsel. Involved in her community, Bridget served on the boards for the DeKalb County Bar Association and the DeKalb County Family Law Section, and consecutive terms on the board for the GAWL Foundation, the non-profit organization for the Georgia Association of Women Lawyers.
Bridget now lives in Washington, DC with her husband, Nolan.
