Joseph, Greenwald & Laake, P.A. (JGL) is seeking an attorney for our estates and trusts practice group. We are looking for a motivated, organized, hardworking attorney eager to learn and gain valuable experience.
Qualifications
- The successful candidate will have 1 to 5 years of relevant experience
- Must be licensed, or eligible to waive in, to practice law in the state of Maryland. Being licensed in the District of Columbia and/or Virginia would be a plus
- Ability or desire to learn to administer probate estates in Maryland
- Ability or desire to learn to draft basic and sophisticated estate planning documents including those that incorporate estate and income tax planning
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Demonstrated proficiency in legal research and writing
- Works well with clients
