The DOJ launched the three-year program in 2024 to encourage whistleblowers to report corporate criminal conduct. Gia explains the areas the program covers, the potential awards available to whistleblowers, and the program’s 2025 expansion to include additional types of fraud.
Two years into the pilot program, Gia notes that the DOJ has not publicly reported issuing a whistleblower award through the program. She also highlights related DOJ initiatives, including the Antitrust Division’s first-ever $1 million whistleblower award in January 2026.
